Having worked in an office for over ten years and feeling in need of a change, I decided to train as a massage therapist in the pursuit of a healthier and more rewarding career.
In 2016 I studied Holistic Massage Therapy at the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork, which offers a high quality, person-centred approach to massage and bodywork. I was amazed at how much of an impact receiving a massage could have on my mind, and I found I had much more clarity and freedom from worries and stress after each weekend. Giving massages also had a similar effect, so it was win win!
I’m now qualified with a Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage with Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. I am fully insured, a member of the Massage Training Institute and undertake on-going training to continually improve the way I work.
I offer a range of massage treatments tailored to each client, bringing together techniques from different traditions and therapies, including aromatherapy, deep tissue, swedish massage and lymph drainage massage.
I work sensitively, taking into account your physical health and emotional wellbeing. I have a particular interest in supporting people who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief or other emotional difficulties.
I work Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from the beautiful "Yurt in the City" in Pontcanna, Cardiff. Other days may occasionally be available.
